Nunavut Business Achievement Awards

NBAA Nomination Form

The Nunavut Business Achievement Awards will be presented during the Nunavut Trade Show and Conference. The reception will take place in the Granite Room of the Discovery Lodge on Wednesday, September 26th 2011 at 6:00 pm.

The Tower Group of Companies continues to host and sponsor the event as they have since the inception of the awards, and the evening will include a fabulous array of northern hors d’oeuvres prepared by their talented chefs.

In 2011, the winners were:

• Person of the Year - William Hyndman
• Business of the Year - Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation
• Award for Special Achievement - Cheri Kemp-Long
• Award for Lifetime Achievement - Rick Lefebvre

Each year the BRCC canvasses its membership and many others across Nunavut to find worthy recipients for these four awards, and every year many nominations are received. This year was no different and the results of the nomination committee’s difficult decision will be unveiled on September 28th. The nomination form is available here.
